Darren grew up in the small farming community of Madison, Nebraska.  He graduated from high School 1991 and then attended Northeast Community College in Nebraska on a soccer scholarship. He and his wife Heather were high school sweethearts and have been married for 14 wonderful years. They have 3 boys who are all very smart, athletic, and kind.  Darren and his wife come from a sports background, so, with 3 boys they love playing sports and attending sporting events as a family. They enjoy pretty much all outdoor activities. Darren has been selling insulation for metal buildings since 1994 and is grateful for the life-long friends he has made in the industry. Darren played for the German national soccer team after college, but was released from the squad for scoring too many times on his own goal.
